Be like a fairie

The soft sweet smell of fairies greet my nose,
giggling with their "hellos"
So subtly sweet
That's why they get their special treats.

Dancing in and out of moonlit glaciers
holding on to their childlike nature.
Dancing in the summer rain,
most adults will never feel again.

Holding myself softly in pain
for I wonder if I'll ever see earth again.
Being trampled by our greedy feet,
if only their eyes could see this deceit.

Mountains high and plains low
you can find me dancing in the snow.
My heart is young
My mind is old
But you'll never catch me no.

For I am like the fairies
with my sweet hellos,
I give you a sweet goodbye
For me its time to fly.
